CHOCOLATE PREPARATION
0.6 gm (1 grain) of plain best quality Belgian
dark chocolate (unbranded) was triturated with 5.94 g (99 grains) of lactose
following the guidelines in the footnotes of paragraph 270 of the 6th edition
of the Organon. 0.6g of the 3C powder was then dissolved in 3mls of water
and 3mls alcohol and succussed 45 times to give the 4c. Potentisation continued
in liquid form using separate vials, 45 succussions and 90% alcohol as
diluent at each step as per Hahnemann's instructions, up to 200c.
